Subway is a large chain of sandwich shops that serve a range of freshly made sandwiches, snacks and salads to take away.

Small

Subway just located along the street from Argos. Can get way too busy at lunch times with school children. The shop is too small to cope with queues. Staff are not the most friendly and there is a very high turnover of staff. Part of the Subway which sells tasty subs (sandwiches) with the usual fillings as well as the specials. Have to admit Subs are a tastier alternative to the usual sandwich for lunch. The subs are made up fresh for your particular order. Start with a selection of freshly baked bread, then choose your filling (hot or cold), and add salad if required, then lastly choose your sauce. My particular favourite is honey and oat bread with ham and turkey, all the salad plus green peppers and a dash of sweet onion sauce. Basically with Subway you know what you get - a fresh tasty sub, whether you are in London or Edinburgh.
