A Smashing Curry House

The Gulab Tandoori is my favourite Indian restaurant in Irvine and there are lots of reasons that I keep going back. This family run restaurant is welcoming and the level of service from the waiting staff is consistently high. Takeaways are equally delicious and the preparation of your meal is effiecient and quick.My family all love the tikka dishes and never want to try anything else on the menu. I am a vegetarian and am enjoying working my way through all of the vegetable curries on the menu. The Naan bread is absolutely delicious and when you are deciding what to have they give you free popadoms with spiced onions, dip and homemade coleslaw.We enjoy the food on the menu but they do have buffet nights which are always mobbed. The Gulab comes highly recommended by me.TOP TIP - YOU MUST GIVE TIPS DIRECTLY TO THE STAFF OR ELSE THEY WILL BE KEPT BY THE RESTAURANT OWNERS.
