Probably Kilmarnock's best restaurant.

The Jefferson is an upmarket restaurant located about 5 minutes from Kilmarnock town centre. The food is not cheap - the best value is probably the three course lunch special at �£11.99. The food however is top quality and on a par with the best restaurants in Ayrshire. The restaurants is only several years old and the furniture and décor is therefore good quality and modern. Service is excellent and there is a very expansive wine list.

THE JEFFERSON

I HAD HEARD REVIEWS AND ASSUMED IT WOULD BE LOVELY. THE ACTUAL PLACE WAS LOVELY AND THE STAFF VERY PLEASANT BUT THE FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY VILE PLATES WERE COLD WHICH MADE THE FOOD COLD WILL NEVER GO BACK AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE INCLUDING PEOPLE I DI NOT LIKE.
